Victor Zyryanov
Biography:
Victor Zyryanov is the professor and head of Laboratory of Molecular Spectroscopy at the Kirensky Institute of Physics of Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences.
He leads the research group that are developing and studying the novel liquid crystalline materials (liquid crystal layers and polymer dispersed liquid crystal films) with electrically controlled surface anchoring at the interface.
His team considered how external factors such as electric field, magnetic field, light irradiation, confined geometries, surface anchoring, and temperature affect the orientational structure and optical response of the LC materials.
They aim to develop innovative and responsive materials with practical potential for the application in optoelectronics, metasurfaces, and nanoplasmonics.
Title of the communication:
Liquid Crystals with Electrically Controlled Alignment at Interface
