Submit an Abstract

Submissions will open at the end of November.

To learn more about how to submit your abstract for the upcoming ILCC 2026 conference, read the following sections. If you experience any technical difficulties or have any questions, feel free to contact ilcc2026@agora.events.

ILCC 2026 Conference

The Conference will take place at the Centre des Congrès de Québec, Québec City, Canada.

All onsite presentations will be presented live as scheduled in the online Conference program. There will be no remote sessions.

Submission Guidelines

• Authors must submit their abstract online through the dedicated platform. Please create an account when logging in for the first time.

• Submissions will be accepted until January 31, 2027. 

• We encourage authors to submit as soon as possible to received their notification on time and apply for their visa if necessary. Please read here for more information on visa application. 

• Available presentation formats: 

  • Oral presentation: Spaces are limited. 

    • Plenary Speakers: 45 min presentation + 10 min Q&A

    • Keynote or Invited Speakers: 25 min presentation + 5 min Q&A

    • Contributed Speakers: 12 min presentation + 3 min Q&A

  • Poster Presentation: Presenters will be asked to be available to answer questions during a dedicated poster session. 

• Submission as 'Plenary Speaker', as 'Keynote Invited Speaker' or as 'Invited Speaker' are for researchers invited by the Organizing Committee. All the other abstracts should be submitted as 'Contributed Speaker'. 

• Before submitting your abstract, make sure it aligns with one of the highlighted topics of ILCC 2026. You may select your preferred session and a second choice. Please click here for detailed descriptions. 

• Each author may submit up to (2) two abstracts. Oral presentations are limited to (1) one per presenting author and Posters to (2) two per presenting author. The presenting author must be registered for the conference to validate their participation and be allowed to present. 

• The submitting author is also the presenting author and will receive all correspondence related to the submitted abstract. 

• Use the below template to prepare your PDF.

• Abstracts must not exceed 1 page, including all text, figures, and references. Please note that after the submission deadline the list and the order of the authors cannot be modified and must remain unchanged in the final version of the manuscript.
• The abstracts should describe original and significant new work. They should provide sufficient detail for referees to make a comprehensive assessment of the scientific merit of the work described. All abstracts will be evaluated considering its technical-scientific characteristics, innovating aspects and the quality of the text. The abstracts will be either accepted for oral contribution, poster contribution or rejected.

File Size Limit

Authors will be permitted to submit files up to 3 MB.

Writing Language

English is the official language of the conference. As a result, all papers must be entirely submitted (and presented) in English. 

Authors List

The authors' name(s) and affiliation(s) appear below the title in capital and lowercase letters. ILCC does not perform blind reviews, so be sure to include the author list in your submitted paper. Abstracts with multiple authors and affiliations may require two or more lines for this information. The order of the authors on the document should exactly match in number and order the authors typed into the online submission form.

Submission Confirmation

You will receive an automatic email confirming your abstract has been submitted. 

Selection Process

The abstracts submitted will be reviewed by the scientific committee of the ILCC 2026 Conference, which is composed of experts selected for their demonstrated knowledge of the particular topics.

Authors will ne notified of the results of the review process by email after the submission deadline. 

Please note that altough the presenting author can state their preferred type of presenting, the Scientific Committee reserves the right to assign them to oral or poster presentations. Those who are not successful in securing an oral presentation may be offered to present their abstract in a poster format. 

The accepted abstracts will be allocated in the ILCC 2026 Program in their respective oral or poster sessions. Once the final program is available, the authors will have a deadline to request any changes to their presentation schedules. After this period and the event, NO change in presentation schedule will be allowed. 

To confirm their participation and abstract presentation, selected authors must register for the Conference before April 12, 2026.
