Peter Palffy-Muhoray

Biography:
Peter Palffy-Muhoray is Professor of Mathematics at Kent State University, USA. He received his PhD in Physics from the University of British Columbia, Canada. His research is focused on liquid crystals, optics and soft matter physics. He was Professor of Chemical Physics at Kent State from 1994-2019 and served as Associate Director of the Liquid Crystal Institute from 1990-2018. In 2019 he joined the Department of Mathematical Sciences at KSU.
